How to use Japanese on ARM version of Windows installed on M1 Mac Parallels

Step 1: Start the virtual machine

Click the Parallels Desktop icon on the Mac menu bar and select "Control Center.

Start the virtual machine.

Step 2:Open [Settings

Open the virtual machine's Start menu or Action Center and click on the Settings icon (gear symbol).

Step 3: Click on [Time & Language

[When "Settings" opens, click on "Time & Language.

Step 4: Click [Add a language

Click "Add a language" under Preferred languages, select Japanese, and click "Next" to install Japanese.

Step 5: Select Japanese and click "Next

Select Japanese and click [next] to begin installation.

 

Step 6: Select Japanese in "Windows display language

[Select Japanese under Windows display language.

Menus and other information will be displayed in Japanese.

Step 7: Match the keyboard layout to the Mac keyboard.

Select [Options], which appears when you choose Japanese as the preferred language on the language screen, to adapt the keyboard layout to the Mac keyboard.

Step 8: Select [Japanese Keyboard

Select [Japanese Keyboard] and then [ok].

Match the key layout to the key layout of the Mac you are using.
