How to use Windows on Parallels Desktop with US keyboard

Step 1: Start the virtual machine

Click the Parallels Desktop icon on the Mac menu bar and select "Control Center.

Start the virtual machine.

Step 2:Open [Settings

Open the virtual machine's Start menu or Action Center and click on the Settings icon (gear symbol).

Step 3: Click on "Time and Language

[When "Settings" opens, click on "Time and Language.

Step 4: Click on [Japanese

After clicking [Region and Language] on the left side of the window, click [Japanese] under [Language] on the right side of the window.

Step 5: Click on "Options

Click on [Japanese] and a button will appear. Click [Options] in it.

Step 6: Click on "Change Layout

A dialog box titled "Change Hardware Keyboard Layout" will appear.

 

If the keyboard is set to [Japanese Keyboard (106/109 keys)], click there.

A pull-down menu will then appear. Select "English Keyboard (101/102 keys)".

 

Then click Sign Out to sign out and sign in again.
