What to do if you cannot connect to Parallels Client
Repair possible problems with the MacOS file system
Repair problems with the MacOS file system (as some Parallels Client files may be affected by these problems).
Select [Utilities
Start Finder and select "Utilities" from "Applications".
Click [Disk Utility
[Click on "Disk Utility.
(Macintosh HD-Data by default).
Select the MacOS startup volume (Macintosh HD-Data by default) in the left column.
Click on [First Aid
[Select "Macintosh HD-Data by default" and click "First Aid.
Click [Execute
[Click "Run" to begin the process of checking the selected volume for errors.
- [If the "Run" button is not available, click the "Repair Disk" button instead.
- If the button is grayed out and cannot be clicked, skip this step for the selected disk, container, or volume.
- When prompted for a password to unlock the disk, enter the administrator's password.
Click [Done
When First Aid is complete, click "Finish.
Now restart the Mac.
1Start the TP2T Client
Since there is no connection set up, the following message will appear, so select "Add".
Select [Standard RDP
When the following screen appears, select "Standard RDP".
Click [Advanced Settings
Next, enter the server name specified for the server and click "Advanced Settings.
Change Port:3389 in the connection settings to the specified port and click "OK
Change Port:3389 in the connection settings to the specified port and click OK.
Execute [Connection] under [Session].
Select the created configuration and double-click or run "Connections" under "Sessions".
Click [Connect
At first you will get a message "An authentication error has occurred." Enter your university-wide integrated authentication ID (user name in lower case) in the user name and password fields, and click "Connect" to connect.
When the following Linux screen appears, the connection is complete.
